I apologize for my lack of updates recently. I've been so busy with school and work that I haven't hardly had any time to look at this thing. Lots has been going on. Just getting ready for finals and the end of the semester has been really hectic. Plus, I've been working a ton, worked 4 shows last week, plus my 2 regular shifts, plus picked up another on Friday. Classes have been insane. Turned in a 15 page paper last week for my SPEA V160 class, and got back my 8 page campaign strategy paper for Y319 which I got an A on! I was really happy about that, cause its 40% of my grade.
I've been going out a lot more recently. Its not that I've ever been against going out, I just never have enjoyed it that much. But, last weekend was probably the best weekend ever here. This weekend, Shannon the girl that lived across the hall from me is here. She goes to DePaul this year, cause she wanted to transfer to be closer to home. Well, anyways, Emily, Kari, and Megan are throwing this huge party tonight at their house for her. So I'm going to go over there later on. Tomorrow is studying and the Krinklemoose party for work. Its like our Holiday party, but since there Jewish people that work at the Aud too, my boss made up some funny name for it. That should be pretty fun.
The first snow down here happened on Thursday, effectivly shutting down alot of the operations on campus. Haha, it makes me laugh how 5.5 inches of snow can make so many people freak out. I guess its because the shoveling and plowing here seem to be pretty much unexistant. I guess its cause theres to many stupid Southerners, Floridians, and Californians on this campus. Haha. And they all can't drive their cars in the snow. The best part of the day is when I see a Camero with California plates literally sliding down S. Jordan in front of the Delta Gamma house. The girl is out trying to figure out what the hell to do, as her car is slidding towards oncoming traffic. Funny people.
The IU/UK game was today! IU handed Kentucky there asses on a platter, beating them 79-53. Great game, best I've seen the Hoosiers play in awhile. Hopefully this means that this season, IU can dominate. Especially during the Big 10 season. The game was played at the RCA Dome in Indy, which is where the Final Four will be this year. I'm really excited about this season though!
My finals schedule isn't that bad. Tuesday I have my Y319 US Congress final, Wednesday I have my SPEA V160 National Policy final and then X211 Chess at 5, then Thursday I have Enviro Policy. Then Friday, I'm heading back to Michigan! I'm defintly going to welcome these three weeks off. I'm not working over the holidays, and I won't have any classes to worry about, so I'll just be able to relax. I'm heading to Ann Arbor that Saturday night with Megan to hang out with Kelly. And hopefully meet Noah (Kel, Megs and I want to meet him!!!!). I'm not sure what else is really going on while were home. I don't really have very many set plans.
Well, I'm going to go to eat and then get ready for tonight!! Hope you all do well on your finals!!!
